Ontario Tech partners with Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters for a Defence Roundtable

On October 14, 2026, Ontario Tech partnered with Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters and the City of Oshawa to host a Defence Roundtable discussion for the defence and manufacturing industries in the Greater Toronto Area. The event gave industry professionals an opportunity to connect, share perspectives, and explore potential collaboration opportunities.

Hosted at Ontario Tech’s ACE facility, the roundtable brought participants from both sectors together to discuss entering the defence space. The event created space to exchange ideas and strengthen relationships between the university and participating organizations.

The Partnership Office at Ontario Tech University helps connect industry expertise with a university environment that supports collaboration and innovation. The Defence Roundtable laid the groundwork for continued dialogue and future engagement across the manufacturing and defence sectors.
