Ontario Tech University reaffirms its commitment to creating a world-class entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The university's hub for innovation and experiential learning, Brilliant Catalyst, currently offers a variety of special learning opportunities and programs that encourage student entrepreneurship and serve as important points of contact for local businesses seeking to establish connections with university personnel and facilities.

Brilliant Ventures Fund (BVF), an innovative new university-operated fund for businesses, will launch in the fall of 2023, providing even greater help from Brilliant Catalyst to external startups. BVF will concentrate on offering venture support—help for expanding startups—and startup capital investment, which is money raised by an entrepreneur to help cover costs until a business can turn a profit, for projects that are in line with the university's top priorities, which include "tech with a conscience," or using technology ethically to improve the lives of people and the environment.
